Virtual Tours of Virginia Farms
Did you know that Virginia ranks 6th in the nation for Turkey production? Learn more about turkeys and many other fun and informative subjects through this new program offered by the Virginia Cooperative Extension. Participants will take virtual tours of Virginia farms to learn:
- How Virginia grown food is produced and prepared
- How To prepare new recipes from the foods that are produced on local farms
- How local farms – VCE professional, farmers, and food businesses are cultivating healthy food, farms and communities.
Each session will focus on a new food and will be 40 minutes long. All sessions will take place on Fridays at 2 PM.
